Alexander Discepolo

Alex Discepolo began at the University as an adjunct in the fall of 2016. He is currently the Managing Director of Globele Advisors, an accounting firm specializing in entity domestic and international structuring, mergers and acquisitions, accounting for income taxes and related footnote disclosures. Prior to Globele Advisors, he was a partner at Marcum, LLP serving as the managing practice leader of the New England tax practice which included offices in Boston, Hartford, New Haven, and Providence. Alex was also a Director in the tax practice of Deloitte, LLP where beside providing tax services to individuals, partnerships and fortune 500 companies, he also headed the Connecticut emerging strategic client practice of the firm. Early in his career, Alex spent 7 years in New York City with another Big 4 firm where he was responsible for training corporate tax personnel to utilize software to prepare tax returns for multi-national corporations.
