Harold Hartmann Jr.

Professor Harold (Buddy) Hartmann joined the University of Bridgeport's Trefz School of Business in the Summer of 2017.

Professor Hartmann brings a wealth of working knowledge from his Accounting/CPA career spanning over 25 years. He started at a midsize public accounting firm in Long Island and then transitioned to an Assistant Controller of a construction company while attaining his Masters in Taxation. He then moved on to the Big 4 KPMG in the Hartford office. He worked on the tax side in the RMD tax department for a number of years. He was utilized on both audits and taxation engagements for Public, Large, and Midsize businesses. He then transitioned to his own Public Accounting firm and continues to run it today along with his Financial Planning and Asset Management practice.

Professor Harold (Buddy) Hartmann is the Accounting Club Advisor, CTCPA Food Group representative, Undergraduate and Graduate Curriculum Committee's, Senate Faculty Advisory Board Committee and the High School Dual Enrollment program.
