Dr. Gerber is recently retired from his position as Associate Professor of Clinical Sciences in the University of Western States Doctor of Chiropractic program, where he also served as adjunct faculty for the graduate programs in Sports Medicine and in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine. He was an adjunct instructor at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine from 2001-2013. His teaching focus is micronutrient nutrition, clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, and evidence-based practice. He graduated from UWS (then Western States Chiropractic College) in 1981, received his master’s degree in nutrition from the University of Bridgeport in 1986, and was board certified in nutrition and orthopedics.
