Dr. Lehman is a board-certified, chiropractic orthopedist, a Diplomate in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. He teaches differential diagnosis of neuromusculoskeletal conditions in the School of Chiropractic. In addition, he provides clinical rotations for fourth-year chiropractic students and chiropractic residents in Federally Qualified Health Centers, known as community health centers. He taught a sports medicine rotation in the training facility of the local professional baseball team, the Bridgeport Bluefish from 2011 until 2017. As a postgraduate instructor, Dr. Lehman teaches classes in neuromusculoskeletal medicine to chiropractic physicians.
Dr. Lehman developed the three-year, full-time resident training program in chiropractic orthopedics and neuromusculoskeletal medicine offered through the Health Sciences Post Graduate Education department. The program offers training within primary care facilities of Federally Qualified Health Centers and Patient- Centered Medical Home. While practicing in New Mexico, Dr. Lehman mentored fourth-year, University of New Mexico School of Medicine medical students.
