Peter Joined University of Bridgeport in the Summer of 2022 in the Technology Management Department of the Engineering School.
Peter brings an extensive background in culture transformation through learning and talent development. He held multiple leadership positions in GE’s Leadership Development Center (Crotonville) from 2007. He took an early interest in bringing Crotonville learning to a broad cross section of GE leaders through online learning and local experiences.

His tenure at GE spanned multiple functions and industries. It began with assignments in manufacturing in Appliances and Aviation. In Industrial Systems, he expanded into roles in marketing and product management. He became a Master Blackbelt at GE Supply, with roles in Marketing and Sales Operations.

He is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation. He began a successful Executive Coaching Practice in 2020, with both individual and corporate clients. He enjoys helping individuals align their passion, skills, and values to bring their best self to their work. He also has worked with corporate clients on applying Lean Six Sigma to business processes driving increased efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Peter strongly believes in lifelong learning and his educational background spans multiple decades and disciplines. He received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, an MSME from University of Connecticut, and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In 2015, Peter received a Doctorate in Education at the University of Pennsylvania.

Peter presents and lectures in multiple industry and academic settings. He has a passion on how the integration of multiple learning modalities can drive transformation of individual performance and culture. He also has a strong interest in how learning environments affect the efficacy of transformational learning.

Peter lives in Monroe, CT, USA. His spouse, Eileen, is a Senior Finance Executive. Peter and Eileen are supportive of each other as a dual-career household with four children and a dog named Lucy.
