Dr. Alan Amendola is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Sciences at the University of Bridgeport, School of Chiropractic. He teaches a variety of technique lecture and laboratory courses, including Intermediate and Advanced Spinal & Extremity Techniques, as well as courses in Evidence-Based Practice, Contemporary Chiropractic Studies, Starting a Chiropractic Practice, and Office Management. He currently chairs the OSCE Committee and plays a key role in examination development for the 6th-semester cohort.

In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Amendola serves on several university committees, including the OSCE, Admissions, Curriculum, and Faculty Search Committees. Outside of academia, he is the owner of Amendola Family Chiropractic & Wellness in Monroe, Connecticut, where he provides evidence-informed, patient-centered care. He also serves as a Community-Based Internship (CBI) provider, supervising 7th and 8th semester chiropractic interns as they participate in patient examinations and treatments at his practice.
