I joined UB in 2010 as an adjunct faculty member teaching school law at the graduate level (Masters and Ph.D.), the course that I continue to teach. I have been a Connecticut Attorney since 1984 and spent the 8 years prior to that working 5 years as a Business Manager for the Waterford Public Schools here in Connecticut and clerking for a law firm during my 3 years in law school. I have spent my entire legal career representing Connecticut public schools and municipalities in labor, employment and education law. There is no textbook requirement for my course as I use professional development materials I generated for my clients as the basis of instruction.
