Dr. Nelson is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. He has been involved in clinical practice since graduating from medical school in 2018. In practice, he focuses on using functional medicine principles to identify and treat the root cause of his patient's medical concerns. That often involves clinical biochemistry, nutrigenomics, and clinical nutrition. Dr. Nelson joined the UB Nutrition Institute team in 2020 to share his experience with the next generation of health care providers.
Dr. Nelson maintains his private integrative medical practice, where he continues to serve patients in Connecticut as one of the few insurance-based functional medical practices.
